Skin Deep is a self-expression work of mine simply portraying how emotionally trapped I can feel when around authority and society. All of these voices does over shadow me with the thoughts of needing a "real job" and "real, normal life" in stead of venturing into my own dreams and my own worlds.
Tools used.... A3 visual art diary cardboard backing, Fine point pen, coloured pens, coloured paper. white watercolour paint, novel/newspaper pages. tissue. back marker, LOTS of glue and LOADS of emotions.

I think many other people here, such as myself, can relate to the battle against societal 'normalcy'. I have especially been feeling like I cannot follow the same 'real life' path of get a job-get married-have kids-die that others can~
